Linda  Mae's Rays

This sample shows curved, radiating lines quilted on a 6" block.  Some of the right side is quilted every 5 degrees. Looking to the left of the bottom tip, you see quilting lines at  5 degrees, then 10 degrees, then 5 degrees, etc..  The rest of the sample was quilted every 10 degrees.  The ONLY marking was an X chalked in the center!

 

 

Here is the tool with the sample, however the tool is not actually in "position" for quilting.

 

Kelly used Linda Mae's Rays to quilt around the center of her "L" pillow.  The swirl effect add so much.
